If you are taking the SAT on Saturday, December 7th, here at Winslow, please make sure that you bring your approved electronic device, a physical copy of your ID, and your registration ticket. You will not be permitted to test if you do not have any of these 3 items.

There will be an interest meeting on Thursday, December 5th for anyone interested in being a part of “Astris”, our school’s literary magazine. We are looking for designers, editors, writers and artists to help showcase the great creative work of Winslow students. We will meet in M109 at 1:45 PM. Congratulations to the following freshman
Amariah Arango and Frebelin Feliz for being able to recite the poem
“See it Through” by Edgar A. Guest. Out of 400 freshmen, these were the only two who could recite the poem from memory. They both received a reward for this task. Great job, ladies, and continue to excel.

After-school tutoring is now in session. 9th-grade students who receive invites should report to their assigned days. Here is the following tutoring schedule:
For Career and Technical Education Students:
- English Language Arts in room F108 with Ms. Manoussakis
- Mathematics in room B201 with Mr. Guzman (Wednesday Only)
- Science in room M104 with Ms. Mullin (Monday and Wednesday Only)
For all other students
- English Language Arts in rooms M101 or M102 with Ms. Paparo or Ms. Young
- Mathematics in rooms E101 or E102 with Mr. Grochal or Mr. Williams
Please make sure you return all Acceptance and Permission forms to your teacher during your first visits.
