From February 10th to March 1st, students at Winslow Township High School will start choosing their classes and schedules for the 2025-2026 school year during their English classes. It’s important to plan your classes correctly so that you can have a smoother school year, and take all the required classes in time for when you graduate. For example, some of the required classes are some type of career education, a type of art class, a world language, and some type of economics/financial class. Some students aren’t sure on which classes would be best for them, so here are some tips from one of Winslow’s counselors, Mrs. Gorman.
“Try to go to a class that’s challenging but not overwhelming and pick stuff that you’re interested in so that you can try it out at high school for free; as opposed to going to college and having to pay for the classes and you learn you don’t really like it. It’s a great way to help find out what you want to do after high school.” Explained Mrs. Gorman
By now students should have gotten a list of classes/electives to choose from in the mail, so that they can pre-plan for their next year. If you haven’t gotten it already you can find the same list on the school website.
