Congratulations to the WTHS Indoor Winds and Color Guard for performing at Millville High School this past weekend! The Indoor Winds earned second place in their division, and the Color Guard won first place with a score of 72.52! Great work!

Attention Young Ladies.
You want to be sure to attend today’s Girls Group. Melinda from Winslow Emergency Medical will instruct us in hands-only CPR and life skills clinic. Come and learn simple and practical skills that may one day help save a loved one’s life. We will meet promptly at 1:40 pm in the library. Refreshments and bus passes will be provided. Heavy D

- Dwight Arrington Myers was born May 24, 1967, in Jamaica and was known by his stage name, Heavy D.
- Heavy D was a rapper, producer, songwriter, singer, and actor.
- His group, Heavy D and the Boyz, was the 1st group signed to Uptown Records; Heavy D was the frontman and only rapper in the group. The other 2 members were dancers.
- In 1989, his hit song with Janet Jackson, All Right, was the highest-peaking song on the Billboard Hot 100.
- In 1992, he appeared on Michael Jackson’s Jam and sang the theme songs for the hit TV shows In Living Color and Mad TV.
- His last performance was in 2011 on the BET Hip Hop Awards.
- He died at the age of 44 on November 8, 2011.
