Congratulations to the WTHS Indoor Winds and Color Guard for performing at Millville High School this past weekend! The Indoor Winds earned second place in their division, and the Color Guard won first place with a score of 72.52! Great work!

Sadie Tanner Mossell Alexander
Music: For the Love of Money by the Ojays. ( 1st 40 seconds)
- Alexander was a native of Philadelphia, Pa. Born Jan 2, 1898
- She was the 1st black woman to receive her PhD in Economics in the United States.
- The 1st black woman to graduate with a law degree from Penn Law School.
- The 1st black woman to practice law in Pa. She was also very active in Civil Rights.
- Her works and views are recorded in speeches in the Penn archives.
- The Sadie Tanner Mossell Alexander University of Pennsylvania Partnership School, aka Penn Alexander, located in West Philadelphia, is named after her.
- Alexander died November 1, 1989
