Saturday, March 8th, is the next SAT test. If you are registered to take the SAT, please bring the following:
- Approve College Board Electronic Device
- Picture ID
- Registration Ticket
All of these items are required to take the SAT. If any of them are missing, you will not take the SAT. Please ask your school counselor if you need assistance or have any questions. There will be no exceptions or assistance on testing day.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, Winslow student government and Eagles Landing recognizes the following woman of distinction:
Maya Angelou
- Poet, Author, and Civil Rights Activist, lived from 1928-2014
- She published the groundbreaking autobiography I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.
- And became the first African American woman to have her screenplay, Georgia, Georgia, produced.
- Ms. Angelou worked with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X during the Civil Rights Movement.
- And recited her poem “On the Pulse of Morning” at President Bill Clinton’s inauguration in 1993.
- Ms. Angelou earned over 50 honorary degrees and numerous literary awards.
