Back by Popular Demand, the Leo Club presents our Poetry contest! It will be held on Tuesday, April 8th at 6 pm in the library. There will be a Gift Card prize for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners! If you write your own poetry and want to participate, see the flyers at the school for more information. All original poems must be submitted to Ms. Mullin by April 1st to participate!

The Winslow Township Indoor Color Guard had their best performance of the season, winning first place at the Barnegat competition with a score of 83.75–outperforming the second-place group by ten points! Keep up the great work!
The Winslow Township Marching Band earned second place with a score of 72.05 at the Barnegat competition this weekend. This score places them fourth overall in the Atlantic Coast Region! Congratulations!

Secrets will be unraveled, and only the music of ABBA can guide the way. Don’t miss the spring musical, MAMMA MIA! Showtimes are as follows: Thursday, March 27th, which is student night), Friday, March 28th, and Saturday, March 29th, at 7 pm in the high school auditorium.
Tomorrow night is for students, and the tickets are only $4. For all other performances, tickets are $6.
Tickets are purchased online from the school website or use the GO FAN posters QR code around the school. A service fee will be applied to all ticket purchases.

The WTHS Girls’ Flag Football Varsity Squad engaged in a challenging match against a tough Pleasantville Team. Great effort from Jahyra Jackson, scoring 2 touchdowns and 2 extra points; Shaniya Mack, Qualeah Houston, Dezhoni Ricks, Tearanny Colon, Imani Harris, Kayla Pierce, Savannah Martin, Yemsi Navas Valdez, Olivia Rivers, Iyana Smith, and Paris Scott. Good Morning, my name is [xxxx], and in celebration of Women’s History Month, Winslow student government and Eagles Landing recognize the following woman of distinction
Naomi Osaka, tennis champion and four-time Grand Slam winner.
- Born October 16, 1997, Osaka gained international fame by defeating Serena Williams at the 2018 U.S. Open, a bittersweet victory given her admiration and respect for Williams.
- Osaka is the first woman of Japanese & Haitian descent to rank No. 1 in singles and remains a trailblazer in sports and beyond.
- Known for her powerful game and activism, she has used her platform to advocate for racial justice and mental health awareness.
