Back by Popular Demand, the Leo Club presents our Poetry contest! It will be held on Tuesday, April 8th at 6 pm in the library. There will be a Gift Card prize for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners! If you write your own poetry and want to participate, see the flyers at the school for more information. All original poems must be submitted to Ms. Mullin by April 1st to participate!

Prom tickets are still available; the cost is $125 per ticket. Please make sure to complete a contract before paying. All fines must be paid in full; students with 4 suspensions or 3 cell phone suspensions are not eligible to purchase a ticket. The Last day to purchase prom tickets will be Monday, April 14, 2025. Please see Mrs. Connor in F107 to purchase a ticket.

The girl’s lacrosse team started their season with a strong defense showing yesterday against Pinelands Regional. Shout out to our 22 new players who all had playing time in either the Varsity or JV game. Extra shout-outs go to our 2 NEW goalies, Constance Brown and Masye Washington, for being fearless in the goal!

The baseball team improved to 2-0 yesterday, beating Lindenwold 10-0. Jonathan Lawrence was unhittable, pitching a complete game, no-hitter, striking out 13 batters, and walking 0 in 5 innings. Lawrence also helped himself at the plate with 2 hits and 3 runs scored. Also getting hits in the game were D’Angelo King, Aiden Rivera, Brian Jackson, and Tristan Peou-Pang, who contributed with a double. The Eagles’ next game is this Thursday at Cherry Hill West.

Congratulations to the Girls’ Varsity Flag Football pulls by Shaniya Mack, Kayla Pierce, and Jahyra Jackson’s 80-yard touchdown. The JV team had a final score of 32 – 0, 60 yards gained by Yemsi Navas Valdez, flags pulled by Ke’Mya Daniels, Anivea Allen, Sekinat Banjako, & Merjinae Lebron, with 2 touchdowns each by Imani Harris and Navaeh Bruno. Way to go, Ladies, and keep up the good work!
