Christine Valora is a senior at Winslow Township High School and co-editor of The Aquila.  Christine has been co-editor at The Aquila for two years with the goal of rebooting a Winslow Township High newspaper and adapting the paper into an online format to keep readers in touch technologically.  Christine has had a passion for writing since she was young; inspired by J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter, Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson, and John Green.  Encompassing her interest in political science, sparked by the Winslow Township High School’s Model United Nations, journalism was a creative outlet in which she believed her writing could make a difference and reach an audience effectively.  Christine is an active contributor to the art at Winslow Township, from choir to theatre due to a passion for performing.  Christine’s hopes for The Aquila are to create a positive space for the community in which to highlight the student body is all aspects, both academic and extracurricular and to drive student interest, participation, and advocacy.
