Tyjah Kilburn is a Junior at Winslow Township High School and the Editor and Chief of the Aquila. Tyjah has been in a leader in the newsroom going back to 7th grade and has always been drawn to the magic in journalism. Her favorite articles to write are editorials about mental health, politics, and the education system. Tyjah is also apart of her schools African American Culture Club, Historian of Future Business Leaders of America club (FBLA), the President of her class in the Student Government Association (SGA), and the CEO of her own business outside of school. Tyjah also loves reading, graphic design, and helping her community. A goal she has for The Aquila is, “For the Students by the Students” making the Aquila a positive space to express yourself and become aware.
