The Village of Camden County Incorporated and The Township of Winslow presents “Young Entrepreneur Expo” which is scheduled to be held this Saturday, April 27th between 12:00 and 6:00 pm at Winslow School # 6. There will be vendors, music, great food, as well as fun activities such as but not limited to… “Dance Contest (solo and/or group);” and a “3-point Basketball Contest.” Please come out and support this fun-filled afternoon of amusing activities.

Congrats to Acoria Harvey for earning player of the game at Friday’s girl’s lacrosse game against Camden Catholic. Acoria had a strong presence on both attack and defense on Friday, which earned her team votes for her strong vocal presence on the field.

Today is Earth Day! In honor of Earth Day, the WTHS Environmental Club would like to know this environmental fact:
Earth Day started when senator Gaylord Nelson was in Santa Barbara in January 1969. He saw an oil spillage and wanted to take action. He recruited Denis Hayes, his friend, to make efforts to educate campus’ about caring for the planet. Both Nelson and Hayes chose the date April 22nd to make efforts on educating campuses around the country in caring for the earth. Hayes worked with government officials from across the United States to promote care for the Earth; and from there, Earth Day had started. The first official Earth Day happened a year later, on April 22, 1970.
