Fashion Through the Decades – Spirit Week – 10/15

It’s that time of year of year again…Spirit Week! An entire week to show off your school spirit! The themes for this week were Dress to Impress on Tuesday, and Fashion Through the Decades on Wednesday. For Wednesday the Class of 2026 was the 2000’s, the Class of 2027 was the 1990’s, Class of 2028 was 1980’s, and last but not least class of 2029 was 1970’s. For Thursday the theme was Music Day. The Class of 2026 was Country Music, the Class of 2027 Rhythm & Blues, and the Class of 2028 was Rap Music, and Class of 2029 was Punk/Rave Music. Finally, for Friday the theme was Color Wars where each grade wore their designated class shirts. For this article we are highlighting and showing outfits for Wednesday, Fashion Through the Decades! The outfits for Wednesday were all very creative and I saw a lot of people dressing up for this day. All of the outfits were all equally impressive and mostly everyone really showed how creative they could get!

Alessandra Cassidy is a Sophomore at Winslow Township High School and is in her second year for “The Aquila”. Alessandra is in a lot of clubs. The current clubs being the Environmental Club, Leader Of the Gardening Club, STEM Club, Stage Crew, Leo Club, Yoga Club, And Renaissance Club, and hoping to join Yearbook Club, and Key Club. She is also a part of the Tennis team and Girls Scouts. While she has written a couple articles she also has background in design and has experience using Adobe and Canva. Her favorite articles to write about are things to do with the environment, student and teacher interviews, and current events in the world. Alessandra also enjoys playing video games such as Skyrim, Fallout 4, Minecraft, Animal Crossing, FNAF, Genshin Impact, Oblivion, PJSK, Horror games, etc. She also likes reading books, doing art, cooking, and gardening. Her current goal is to just have fun in school and try her best.
